With the recent appointment of Arjan van Westerloo as President, NEP UK, The Netherlands and Ireland, the company has decided to further restructure its business to optimize its organization into groups focused on specific markets or types of services. As part, the NEP Connect business, which provides powerful connectivity solutions for broadcast, live events and corporate clients, will become a separate business unit, leveraging the global potential of its comprehensive satellite and Anylive® fibre infrastructure. Vince will serve as Interim Managing Director of NEP Connect and report directly to van Westerloo.

Vince is a seasoned industry executive having held leadership roles across Media and Telecoms at Channel 4, Easynet and Sky where he was integral to the launch of Sky Broadband and Sky Mobile. With his background and experience in the telco industry Vince has a strong track record of innovation and delivery in rapidly changing businesses.

Arjan van Westerloo noted, “As our organization evolves, NEP Connect has great potential as a critical service offering within our global NEP network of markets. By separating the business from our NEP UK organization, we will be able to prioritise innovation and resources for these services to stay ahead of trends in what has become a very quickly changing, dynamic market. And under the dedicated, renewed leadership of Vince Russell during this transition phase, we are well-positioned to answer the connectivity needs of our clients with the first-class service our clients have come to expect from NEP.”

Vince Russell stated, “I’m very much looking forward to working with Arjan and the team at NEP Connect to continue to deliver outstanding service to our clients and lead the business through this exciting period in the company’s evolution.”
