NEP have worked with a number of production companies on athletics events. These have ranged from Diamond League events for the BBC to Commonwealth Games and IAAF for Sunset and Vine. The host coverage for the London 2017 IAAF Athletics recently received an RTS Award in recognition of its excellence and creativity. 

NEP's relationship with major athletic event continues into 2018 with contracts in place for the Commonwealth Games and IAAF Indoor Athletics as well as a number of events for BBC Sports. 

Our relationship with specialist camera suppliers and NEP's own RF Department allows us to integrate their facilities easily and quickly within the overall production. 

Meet Kevin Orwin, Unit Manager, NEP UK: 
During his many years in the industry Kevin has gained valuable experience and knowledge on the coverage of a wide range of events. Projects have included World Cups, Summer Olympics, European Ryder Cups, The Open as well as numerous smaller OB's. One of Kevin’s most challenging projects was to plan and manage the live TV coverage of the 2011 - 12 Volvo Ocean Race. which involved visiting 10 cities around the world to meet with the local event teams to plan all technical aspects of the live OB and then returning to each location as the fleet travelled the globe to cover the in-shore race and departure race for each leg.
